Bare Bones 2

The Derby and Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership’s new ‘Bare Bones 2’ Young Rider campaign encourages young riders to wear protective clothing, at all times when riding.

We see too many young scooter riders without any protective clothing, even a pair of gloves, while out riding on their scooters.

Derby and Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership are working with local motorcycle instructors, to instil these important safety messages within young riders

Bare Bones 2 was developed by the National Young Rider Group. A group of Road Safety Professionals who are passionate about saving young vulnerable riders from being injured in crashes on their scooters. The Derby & Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership are a founder member of the group.

Bare Bones 2 has a simple message for young riders: ‘Never Ride Unprotected’.
