Challenge your skills with our free 2 hours assessment with a local instructor.
Derby and Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership is offering qualified Derbyshire motorcyclists a free 2-hour skills check.
The free assessment is only available to people living in Derbyshire.
The Enhanced Rider Scheme (ERS), was created by the DVSA as extra training for a full ‘A’ motorcycle licence holders and is delivered by motorcycles instructors who have qualified as post-test trainers.
Who it's aimed at
The scheme is suitable if you fit any of these:
- are returning to riding
- want to be a better, smoother, safer rider
- have just passed your test
- are upgrading to a more powerful motorcycle
- want to check your skills
The assessment can be taken as a one to one experience, or you may wish to be assessed with another rider. At the end of the assessment your trainer will give you feedback and a personal costed plan for any further training that may be required to complete the ERS course.
All free assessments are subject to availability of funding and may not always be available.
