We know that a young person’s attitude towards driving will shape their behaviour behind the wheel.
Giving them information about safer driving techniques and positive attitudes towards driving, before they develop bad driving habits, will lead them to become safer drivers.
We offer courses to young and pre-drivers.

Derbyshire County Council run pre-driver training courses for 15 to 17 year olds, either living in, or in education in Derbyshire. First Gear gives trainees their first experience behind the wheel of a car in a safe, controlled environment with fully qualified driving instructors.
